Southern Foodways Alliance Celebration at Fearrington
Please join McIntyre's Books and The Fearrington House Restaurant in welcoming JOHN T EDGE (author and Southern Foodways Alliance director) along with The Southern Foodways Alliance Community Cookbook contributors BILL SMITH and SHERI CASTLE. This talented crew will be on hand to talk about the important work of the SFA and how they put together his amazing community cookbook.
The Fearrington House Executive Chef COLIN BEDFORD will be serving oysters hot and ready for shucking. We'll also be frying Ashley Farms Chicken on the spot and serving Hot Apple Cider in front of the roaring fireplace of the Garden Terrace. There'll be a cash bar serving wines and NC beer.
We have two ways to participate in this event:
#1 Join in the outdoor gathering AND get a copy of the cookbook (retail price $25). Ticket price for the event and one copy of the Southern Foodways Alliance Community Cookbook is $45.
#2 Outdoor Gathering (Food and Fellowship Only) price: $25.
